CIMPOR’s Central Laboratory, located in Alhandra, Portugal, is a key component of the company’s Center of Excellence, serving as a global reference point for quality assurance, innovation, and technical support across the cement and concrete industry.
Since its accreditation under NP EN ISO/IEC 17025 in 1998, the Central Laboratory has been committed to upholding the highest standards in testing and research. It plays a vital role in supporting production processes, developing new materials, and ensuring the quality and sustainability of CIMPOR’s products.

Central Laboratory can perform more than 200 different tests and is accredited for 60 tests in cement, clinker, raw materials, alternative and fossil fuels, aggregates and concrete.
Our laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure precision, reliability, and innovation in every analysis.
